Early 19th century scale model of a French Cathedral
Vroeg 19e eeuwse maquette van een in verval verkerende Franse kathedraal. Prachtig gesculpteerd met hoge mate van detail. Een absolute blikvanger in elk interieur of handelszaak.
De manier waarop de muren, het dak en alle elementen uitgevoerd zijn is werkelijk ongelofelijk gedetailleerd. In de klokkentoren zitten echte bronzen klokjes. De ramen zijn van glas. Binnenin kan met batterijen een extra verlichting aangeschakeld worden.
Deze maquette uit de vroeg 19e eeuw komt uit de privé collectie van Paul Degrande. Deze bekende Belgische antiquair verkocht recent zijn kasteel in Snellegem en tegelijk een groot deel van de collectie.
